1. How does The FatBoy Fundraiser Work?

The FatBoy Fundraiser is a Pre-Sale Fundraiser. Your group will pre-sale our Ice Cream, collect the money, and deliver the ice cream on a pre-determined delivery date to those who purchased the ice cream.

2. What size/type of groups and organizations can do you work with?

We work with all sizes and types of groups ranging from small teams to large clubs.

3. How long does a typical FatBoy Fundraiser last?

Three to four weeks from sell time to delivery.

4. How does the profit per item compare with other fundraisers?

Many fundraisers profit per item ranges from a couple of dollars to seven dollars. FatBoys $10 per item/box is one of the highest profit per sale fundraisers available.

5. What can we expect to make per person on our fundraiser?

Average sales are 10 to 15 boxes per participant sold ($100 to $150 earned).

6. Once we start are we on our own?

Not at all! A FatBoy representative is available to help with any questions you may have along the way.

7. How long in advance do I need to schedule my fundraiser?

Fundraisers can be scheduled any time before your group starts. Our delivery calendar is on a first come-first serve, basis so the earlier you can schedule your delivery date the better the chances for the date you want for delivery.

8. How often can we do a FatBoy fundraiser?

As often as you would like. Many of our groups (especially sports groups) participate twice a year!

9. How easy is a FatBoy Fundraiser to run?

We have made the FatBoy Fundraiser a simple process with set sell times and delivery times for each group that participates. We also have a representative for each group to help with any questions or concerns.

10. Are there any up front costs or hidden fees for my organization?

NONE! There are no upfront costs or hidden fees. Each group that participates receives an email with documents they can print for the fundraiser. The group keeps their share of the money ($10 a box) as soon as sales are done. FatBoy only collects it’s portion ($15 a box) upon delivery of product.

11. Do you have a local representative in my area?

Currently we have FatBoy Fundraiser representatives in Utah (also servicing Southern Idaho) and Colorado with exapnded areas comding soon.

12. How do I get started?

Contact FatBoy Ice Cream at www.fatboyfundraiser.com for more information and getting started

13. Who is FatBoy Ice Cream?

FatBoy is manufactured by Caspers Ice Cream. It all began back in 1925 when Casper Merrill took the milk and cream from the family milk cows and made the original Ice Cream Nut Sundae on a Stick. He made those first bars, known today as FatBoy® Nut Sundaes, and sold them at the local 4th of July celebration. Today, folks across the country are still enjoying FatBoy Premium Ice Cream just as much as they did in 1925.

14. What flavors can we pick from?

Currently FatBoy Fundraisers only offer Vanilla Sandwich and Nut Sundae. These are our two most popular products and they keep the fundraisers fast and effecient.

15. How does my organization get paid?

It is so simple! At the time of delivery FatBoy Ice Cream will need one check from your group for $15 a box (Written out to FatBoy Ice Cream). Your group keeps the other $10 a box as its profits. If you are part of a school or large group that requires a PO system to receive payment we will gladly work with you to set that up to be paid within 30 days of delivery.

16. Who do people make checks out to when ordering ice cream?

Those who buy FatBoy Ice Cream make checks out to the team/group, club, or school. This is decided before the fundraiser begins and told to all participants. No customer checks are to be written out to FatBoy Ice Cream.

17. Ice Cream melts! Do I need to worry?

With so many fundraising options available, it is hard to find a unique fundraiser. Ice cream for a fundraiser is unique and fun. At FatBoy we worked years at perfecting the fundraiser process so it can be sold, delivered, and taken to people’s homes without problems of melting. Whether you are a small or large group, we will help you with every step of the way. Our personal and friendly FatBoy Fundraising Representatives work personally with each group ensuring a successful fundraiser. .

18. Will FatBoy drop the Ice Cream off at my designated location and leave?

FatBoy will make sure the freezer truck is at your designated location so your ice cream stays frozen as you pick it up for delivery. This makes it important to make sure all of those that sold are at the delivery to pick up their ice cream.

19. How long will the freezer truck be at my location to deliver the Ice Cream?

The Freezer truck will be at your delivery location based on the number of boxes your group sold. A general rule of thumb is a 30 minutes for every 200 boxes sold. This can be adjusted for your group on a case by case basis as coordinated with your FatBoy Representative.

20. How long will the ice cream stay frozen while being delivered and what is the best way to deliver ice cream?

The ice cream must be delivered in a freezer within 45 minutes of picking it up from our freezer truck. The ice cream is frozen at -20°F to give enough time for delivery. The majority of participants will not need anything more than to just pick up their Ice Cream and deliver it. For those with large orders (20 or more boxes) or traveling far, they need to have more than one vehicle for delivery or blankets and dry Ice to keep the ice cream cold if there is a chance of ice cream being out longer than 45 minutes. The dry ice rule of thumb is 1lb of dry ice per 4 boxes of Ice Cream. Dry ice goes on top of the boxes under the blankets. A regular cooler can only hold 3 boxes of ice cream so blankets generally work better.
